N-BK7 Retroreflector prisms

Retroreflector Prisms also referred to as Solid Glass Retroreflectors or Corner cube retroreflectors or retroflectors are prisms designed to reflect a beam light back to its original direction by using three completely inner reflections (TIR). The beam (as well as the image) is then inverted and reflected through 180°. The Retroreflector Prism performs in large angles of incidence no matter its positioning to the beam. The insensitivity of the positioning of the prism provides an ideal retroreflecting optic tool.
 
Retroreflector prisms are suitable wherever precision positioning is complex and also time-consuming. They are significant for apps needing an accurate 180° reflection while not having to exactly orient the prism. Reflected images are inverted as well as reversed.
